“After The Mass” - Series of Tadas Kazakevicius & Artūras Morozovas -01

The essence of humanistic photography is encountering strangers and being intrigued. Photography itself is just a pretext here.

The Lithuanian School of Photography was one of the most significant phenomena in photography in 20th century in Europe. Continuing traditions of this school, the contemporary photographers Artūras Morozovas and Tadas Kazakevičius focus on their interest in the Lithuanian people and their daily observations.

Photography is first and foremost an action, walking and taking an interest, talking and observing. Immortalization of strangers is an exciting moment when a person whose existence you did not know becomes a relevant world for a moment. The date we invite you to is meeting residents of Lithuanian church villages who came to the Mass on Sunday morning.
